Safety & Care
Care & Instructions
Your Baréa is crafted from raw, untreated beech wood. With a little care, it will stay beautiful for years.
Cleaning
- Use a barely damp cloth with lukewarm water. Most of the time, water alone does the job.
- For tougher dirt, add a tiny amount of mild, pH-neutral soap to the water.
- Wring the cloth out extremely well. It should feel almost dry.
- Wipe along the grain, especially where hands, feet, and body touch the ladder.
- Follow with a completely dry microfiber cloth. Never let water sit on the wood.
What to avoid
Alcohol, bleach, antibacterial sprays, vinegar, and strong household cleaners can discolor or dry out raw wood, so keep them away from your Baréa. Avoid using body creams or hand lotions since oil-based products could stain the wood as well.
Stubborn spots
For stubborn spots or discoloration, you can very gently sand the area along the grain. Do this only occasionally.
Placement
Baréa is designed for indoor use and covered balconies. Keep it away from rain and standing water.
Regular check-up
Every 6 months, check all screws and fixings and tighten them if needed. If you notice any damage, cracks, or loose parts that won’t tighten, stop using your Baréa and contact us.
Safety Disclaimer
Your safety matters to us. By using Baréa, you agree to the following:
- Exercise at your own risk. Consult a doctor before starting any new exercise routine, especially if you have a medical condition or injury.
- Respect the weight limits. The wall bar on its own supports up to 150kg. With the Pull-Up Bar Extension attached, the limit is 120kg. Never exceed these limits.
- Use a gymnastics mat. Always place a gymnastics mat beneath your Baréa to reduce the risk of injury from falls.
- Supervise children. Children must always be supervised by an adult while using Baréa.
- Check it regularly. Inspect and tighten all screws every 6 months, and stop using it if anything is damaged or loose.
- Installation and relocation. Baréa is installed by our team on concrete or brick walls only. If you move or reinstall your Baréa yourself, you do so entirely at your own risk.
- Use it as intended. Baréa is designed for controlled bodyweight training, stretching, and mobility. Avoid jerking, yanking, or forcefully shaking the ladder or the Pull-Up Bar Extension, and do not use it for rough play, kipping, or any purpose other than exercise. Do not modify it in any way.
Baréa is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from misuse, exceeding the weight limits, lack of supervision, failure to maintain the product, or installation or relocation by anyone other than our team.
